The Prep - Under a week to go.

 

The final countdown is on. With less than a week to go a final tidy up of preparation and packing is all that is required. Storage for 4 jerry cans (2 fuel, 2 water) all sorted.

Scott has been busy doing a once over on the camper, new brake shoes and wheel bearings fitted, shackles greased and electrical system given the once over.

 The trusty Wrangler has been given an early service and had a bit of a freshen up. All tyres new with a second spare on the roof. I am pretty sure I have seen Scott fill every spare nook and cranny with beer, he is of the opinion it is imperative to have as much life sustaining fluid on board as possible, hmmmmmm beer.

It's amazing how much space there is when you really start to look for it. I was worried about the microwave plate bouncing around and possibly breaking. But a few packs of wraps stowed away has that one sorted.

Some easy meals prepped and popped in the freezer. Just need to remember to load these into the Waeco before we go.
